Hi! My name is Sara Schonmann I am a marketing student looking to get immersed in the fashion marketing industry. I have experience in both the corporate marketing world and the retail industry. I also am very well-rounded throughout my university within extracurricular activities and my academics.
Through my current position as a Marketing Assistant to a mid-sized accounting firm I have gained skills in budgeting funds for the department through Excel, managing & creating social media content, and analyzing SEO analytics. Having knowledge of digital media tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud permit me to create graphic designs for the firm’s Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts; in order to gain more clients into the firm.
Throughout my time at Hofstra University I have been a member of my sorority Phi Sigma Sigma and a member of the Advertising Club. I have accepted leadership positions in my sorority throughout my time. In 2020, I was my chapter’s Bursar in which I dealt with the sorority’s budgeting and finances. In 2021, I currently am my chapter’s President in which I make sure all the processes are running smoothly within the chapter and delegate necessary tasks to my Executive Board.
